How does your income flow? As we learn to master our money. It becomes important to know where our money comes from. Do you have a job or do you own your own business? Do you receive a salary or do you work on commission? Do you pay yourself a steady paycheck from your business or do you pay yourself from your profits? It doesn't matter how you hustle. What matters is that you work with the way your money flows. You can still practice your Financial Diet. You can still Pay Yourself. It's okay if you're paying yourself every two weeks, every month, every quarter. The main thing is that you are practicing The Habits.
Does cash come to you like a stream? Steady. Regular.
Or does your cash come in chunks? Periodically. In big juicy pieces.
Many of us, especially as employees, receive our income in a steady stream. Every two weeks we receive our paycheck. We Financial Diet. We Pay Ourselves. Every year, we get at least 25 chances to practice good money habits. Every time we get paid, we grow closer to making The 5 Habits of Money... our habits. This is our advantage when we receive our income in a steady stream.
Many of us as business owners and salespeople only get paid when we sell something. Sometimes, after we sell, we still don't get paid right away. Sometimes we need to wait till our product is delivered or installed. Sometimes we need to wait till our invoice or commissions get paid out. Our income is more sporadic. Some months, huge chunks of money come in. Other months, those "chunks" look like little pebbles of cash.
May I suggest...
1. If your Hustle comes in a steady stream, I'd like to suggest that you work on a side hustle that will produce cash in chunks. If you've been at your job for a while and you feel like your on cruise control, then now is a great time to work on a Side Hustle. Start with what you like to do. Turn your passion into profit. Move from being a hobbyist to becoming an expert.
2. If your cash comes in big chunks, I'd like you to think about how you can turn part of your cash into a steady, passive income stream. Depending on how much you receive each time you get paid, you could start Pimpin Your Dollars right away.
It doesn't matter how you Hustle. It is important that you realize how your cash flows. And that you continue to practice The 5 Habits and eventually master your money.

get your hustle on!!!
I'm broke. All my investments are shit. I'm in debt. I've got credit card companies calling me everyday. Mortgage companies are calling me everyday. I've got a couple foreclosures on my credit. It's one thing to teach you The 5 Habits of Money. It's a completely other thing to be LIVING The 5 Habits. So I'm starting over. Lead by example. I'm living the 5 Habits starting with the first Habit: HUSTLE: make money any way you can.
How is your HUSTLE?
What are you doing to get your money ON?
Do you have a job or do you have your own business?
Is there a cap on your income?
How can you earn more money doing the same thing you are doing?
Do you like what you are doing?
Is your heart in it?
Are you making enough?
What am I doing to HUSTLE?
I got a job as a Direct Sales Rep with Comcast. It pays a salary and commission. I'm offering myself as a customer's personal concierge to Comcast. Questions, additions, or subtractions with service. Anything relating to Comcast and its products, I can help with. What I offer is to help customers reduce their Comcast bill by helping them get on a multi product discount or promotion.
How am I doing with this HUSTLE? Good question. I must admit that over the last 2 weeks I have learned so much just shadowing my coworkers. Everything I didn't learn in classroom training, I've learned from "the guys." My goal is to become a customer resource for all Comcast related issues. I'm positioning myself as "THE Comcast guy."
Any other HUSTLES? Not at the moment. I know myself. I know that I need to concentrate on one thing at a time. Believe me, I've tried doing multiple things at the same time. Example: Real estate investing, stock investing, writing a book. I end up performing horribly. What I know I should do and what I do are two separate things. I don't always do what I know I should do. But that is changing. I'm sticking to this MAIN HUSTLE. I'm quickly learning the ropes. Everyday I'm getting better and better. I'm able to help a greater amount of people. Soon I'll be the best at what I do. At that point, I know that my income will increase proportionately. I can pay off all my debt. Get back to even and start working for me again.
If you are in a similar situation. (hopefully not as bad as me) I'd like to offer you this......No matter how bad you think your money situation is, it's only money. You still have your health, your life, and people who and support you. It's not your fault that you are in the position you are in. Especially if you were never taught the right way to deal with money. The most inspiring thing about you is: Everyday you can do something to make your life better. You can change. You can get out of the rut you are in. And create the life you know you deserve.
My friend, hope is all we have. The definition I use for hope is "confident expectation." Confidently expect good things out of life. As always, I'm here to help.
What are some money problems you are facing now? What are some things you are doing to face them?
How is your HUSTLE?

How can I be a Leader?
Are you a leader or a follower? Most of us would respond: Leader. Of the two choices I've given you, "leader" sounds better than "follower." Wouldn't you agree?
Are we all leaders? We say we are, but are we? We don't want to be leaders. It's easier to follow someone. We like to go with the crowd. The truth is most of us are followers, not leaders.
Are you the CEO of your company? Do you head up any kind of organization? Does anyone even look up to you?
Are you a leader?
You might not know it yet. But there are people looking for you to lead them. There are simply not enough quality leaders in life. You presently possess qualities that can make you a leader. There are accomplishments and skills you possess that others want.
It is up to you, if you choose to, to help these people. They may be your friends, your family, your coworkers. Take a look around. Is there something you possess that people around you want? I'm sure there is at least one....
I recently left a temp job at a call center. For me it was always temporary. For most of my coworkers, they are looking to make it permanent. But I also see and feel and hear that they don't really enjoy working at the call center. Friday was my last day there. All the people I had the pleasure of getting to know knew of my departure. Many didn't know where I was going until my last day. They were all so excited for me. They heard the new company I was going to work for was a great place to work. They all asked me for the hook up. They wanted to follow me.
Start listening and getting to know people a little more. You'll be surprised how many people need and want you to lead them.

What's the Worst that could Happen?
I'm pretty sure this has got to be a low point in my nearly 30 years of existence. I'm over $70,000 in credit card debt.
I'm trying to dump 2 bad real estate deals.
I just found out that 2 of my properties may already have been auctioned off.
I had to give up the best apartment I've ever lived in. I lied by ommission to my gf about my financial situation. We aren't broken up but we won't be living together for a while. To be more precise, I'm technically homeless.
I sold or gave away most of my stuff.
I'm selling my car. Which happens to be the best car I've ever had. The stuff I do have is stashed with my gf and homie.
I'm working a shitty temp job at a call center. (I don't care how much you LOVE the people at work. A shit job is still a shit job.)It's shitty for me because it pays not enough. What's worse is how great people can become less than great when they are being paid to let people dump on them. I got what I asked for: "Lindsey, I want to get paid the most for the least amount of work." I got what I asked for.
I don't have a real job,
I'm not doing any real business.
I'm not selling anything,
I'm not getting paid for anything
My book is not done.
I haven't done any talks all summer.
I've just been "omitting" to myself.
How I'm feeling?
1. I'm at the bottom of a well. I see the light above me. but it looks like I need to climb about 200 feet straight up to get out of the mess I'm in.
2. I've built up this nice looking house. It looks nice but the workmanship isn't. I'm standing in the middle of my house and the walls are falling all around me. What I've built up is falling on me.
3. helpless. weak. embarrassed. unworthy. like a failure. like i've let down myself and those I love the most.
What you don't know is that I feel and know that my friends and family are looking to me to lead them. They want someone to show them a way out of their current situations. Into a more secure, abundant and fulfilling life. I know this. I feel this. I have accepted this great honor.
This is why I feel so terrible about my current situation. Trust me, I've beat myself up pretty bad. Have you seen the movie Fight Club? Remember the first time Ed Norton beat the shit out of Brad Pitt? That's what I've done to myself inside my mind.
HOW CAN I HELP ANYONE, IF I CAN'T EVEN HELP MYSELF! I fucked up. I got to start over. This is the worst that could happen. When you take a shot and come up short...All you can do is get up. Dust yourself off. And keep moving.
Lesson 1: PERSISTENCE. The faster you can get up after a fall, the farther ahead you will go.
Lesson 2: PATIENCE. Don't be so hard on yourself. Anything worthwhile takes practice and work.
Lesson 3: PERSPECTIVE. If you are still ALIVE after your entire WORLD falls apart, THAT AIN'T BAD!

Gooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you set goals for yourself? What are they?
I thought I had it all figured out when it came to goals. Then I learned a powerful new way of looking at goals. This new definition flipped what I knew about goals and goal setting on its head.
When we make goals they usually include a specific number. Like pounds lost or money accumulated. Life Coach, Develyn Steele suggests that these are not goals. He says that they are results of goals. So all this time I thought I was setting goals. When in fact I've only been writing out the results I want. Coach Steele suggests that instead of saying "I want to lose 12 pounds." Change the wording to: "I want to learn to eat healthy, exercise and take care of my body." That seems more effective long term, more lasting. If you think about it. 10 pounds can go and come right back. But if you work towards healthy eating and exercising, the result will be weight loss.
How do we apply this to The 5 Habits of Money?
Instead of setting goals of becoming a millionaire. Set a goal of mastering The 5 Habits of Money. One Habit at a time. With each Habit you work on, you will be increasing your net worth, regular income, and passive income. You can still write out the results you want from mastering money through The 5 Habits. Like: The result I want is a one million dollar net worth in the next 5 years.
How have I applied this to my goals?
Original goal: Become a millionaire by sharing The 5 Habits of Money with as many people as possible.
New goal: Become the best speaker and author on The 5 Habits of Money.
necessary regular activities: 1. Practice and speak more often. 2. Write 3-5 pages a day to finish The 5 Habits of Money book. 3. Promote The 5 Habits of Money.
ACTIONS:
1. REWRITE YOUR GOALS ACCORDING TO THIS NEW DEFINITION OF A GOAL.
2. LIST THE RESULTS YOU WANT.
3. MAKE NOTE OF WHAT YOU NEED TO DO ON A REGULAR BASIS TO OBTAIN YOUR GOAL.
4. START NOW, KEEP GOING.

Free Your Mind! And The Rest Will Follow...

Here's a definition for meditate: To think of something over and over.
Simple. Easy. It makes sense.
What happens when you think you are getting sick?
How long does it take for you to get sick?
Can you see how our thoughts work?
Our thoughts are the most powerful thing that comes from of us. The 5 Habits of Money are a philosophy of money. A way of thought. Let's examine our
"MONEY THOUGHTS"
What's your first thought on payday?
Do you ever find yourself thinking...
I'm not rich!
I can't afford that!
I'm broke.
STOP RIGHT THERE!
Do you see that that your thoughts are affecting your feelings and actions and your
current financial state?
Henry Ford said, "Whether you think you can or you can't, either way, you are right!"
We've got a choice. We can think poor thoughts or rich thoughts. thoughts of scarcity or thoughts of abundance. Positive or Negative. If you are thinking "poor" thoughts. There's a good chance you will be poor. Just like when you thought you were "sick." If you can recognize these thoughts. You can stop them and change them. It's your choice.
If you'd like to "free your mind" of poor, negative thoughts, take the following
ACTIONS:
1. You've got choices. FOCUS on good, rich, abundant thoughts.
2. RECOGNIZE negative thoughts when they come.
hint: they make you feel badly about yourself.
3. BREAK OUT of the thought. Snap. Clap. Shout.
(if you look or sound insane, you've got it right)
4. REPLACE that negative thought. (with a positive one)
5. FOCUS ON THE POSITIVE. MINIMIZE THE NEGATIVE. (was that mary poppins?)
What do you do to BREAK OUT of negative thinking? (say the word "stop" out loud)

Money 101: (required, no prerequisites)
Money motivates us whether we like it or not. Most of us go to college so we can get higher paying jobs. Even art majors need money to survive. Money will always be a big part of our lives.
If money is so important. Why don't we have better money management skills? Think back on your illustrious academic career. All the way from college to kindergarten. What have you learned about money in school? How to write a check? Shopping online safely?
If you had similar experiences with money, you can see that we need basic financial education. It's a need not met by our school system at any level. This is why "The 5 Habits of Money" was created. To help fill the gap in our financial education. The 5 Habits of Money teaches the basics of money. Although The 5 Habits are simple, there is nothing basic about how far you can go. These same habits have made ordinary people, extraordinarily wealthy.
Do you have a job, a business, or any source of income? Congratulations. You are practicing The First Habit of Money: Hustle. Make money anyway you can. The Second Habit of Money is "financial diet." It is summed up in one equation: INCOME=EXPENSES. Simple? Yes. But how many people are in debt because they don't practice this habit?
The Third Habit of Money is "Pay Yourself." When you spend money, everyone else gets paid. Why shouldn't you? After all, you earned it! Make sure you Pay Yourself at least 10% of what you make.
Once you have some money it's time to "Pimp Your Dollars!" You work hard for your money. Make money work just as hard for you. This is The Fourth Habit of Money. Go ahead slap your money around. You won't get in trouble. If you don't like what your money is earning in that savings account. Smack! Make it work harder somewhere else. This is where furthering your financial education comes in. Rich people aren't smarter than you. They just know something you don't.
The Fifth Habit is C.Y.A. or Cover Your Ass...ets. Protect your money from liability and taxes. The most common tool is using insurance. You probably have some form of insurance right now.
Out of The 5 Habits of Money, how many are you practicing now?

How can C.Y.A help you avoid paying taxes?

We all know that C.Y.A. stands for Cover Your Assets. What that means is simply to protect what you have from liability and taxes. One of the most common ways to C.Y.A. is having insurance. One way to control how much taxes you pay is using legal entities.
I just read an article in the New York Times, written by David Cay Johnston, about how a private equity firm has found a way to "effectively avoid paying taxes on $3.7 billion." What the partners will pay in taxes is $553 million. The craziest thing is that they will be able to deduct $1.1 billion over 15 years.
What does this all mean? They pay $553 million in taxes. They get back $1.1 billion in deductions over 15 years. In today's dollars, that's $751 million. From simple math the partners get back $198 million. Pretty sweet, huh.
How did they do it?
1. Using the best tax lawyers money can buy.
2. The $3.7 billion was considered goodwill. So it's deductible.
3. Using a "blocker" corporation. The deductions are taken out of the corporation.
MAJOR ACTION:
This is major league "covering your assets." If you'd like to start legally paying less taxes, then here are your first steps.
1. Education:
What is a corporation and how can I use it to pay less taxes?
What is good will? do I have any of it?
What is a deduction? How can I get some?
2. Planning:
Get with a CPA. If you can afford it, get with a tax attorney.
Find out what you need to do to legally pay less taxes.

Put your money on a diet
Atkins, South Beach, Low Carb, Veggies, Seefood. For as many different types of people, there is a different type of diet. Why do we still think that the next diet will be the one that makes us lose the weight we want?
We spend so much time and energy towards dieting. Why don't we spend as much time towards dieting our money. Huh? Money Diet??? Yup. Money diet. I'm not talking bout you eating money. I'm talking about putting your money on a diet.
Why do we work out and watch what we eat? To lose weight. To feel better. To look better. to be healthy. Did I miss anything?
In the same way, I'd like you to think what it'd be like to put your money on a diet. Imagine an overweight, lazy, couch potato dollar bill. Do you see him? That fat ass Washington is just chillin on your couch. Eating your food. Taking up space. Doing absolutely nothing for you.
Is this how you want your money to be?
Or can you imagine this: You as the ruler of Egypt. Nice tan! Gold head dress with a cobra at the top of it. You look down from your throne to see all your dollar bills working their skinny asses off for you. Watch as your money bosses whup those bills. Your cash slaves are creating little cash slave babies. Each of those cash babies belong to you. More dollar bills to build up your empire.
The second Habit of the 5 Habits is: Financial Diet.
Financial Diet is a plan to keep your Money Life in good shape. This means, for example, that if you take home $3000 per month, then you should only spend up to $3000 per month. It's simple but not easy sometimes.
Financial diet is not a diet where you follow it for a week or a month. It is a habit. A habit, good or bad, takes at least 30 days to develop. The habit of financial diet will take just as long. But it's not the effort involved that we should focus on. Rather the results.
How good would it feel to know you're living a healthy money life? No added debt each month. Bills get paid. You're focused on making more, saving more, and investing more. So when you're done you don't gotta work no more. sweet.
Financial Diet Action Program:
1. Write down how much money you take home each month.
2. Calculate how much money you spend each month.
3. Find out how healthy your money life is: Money made - Money spent
4. If you need to get healthier....
option 1: Earn more money.
option 2: Cut down on expenses.
option 3: Do a little of both.
Lemme know how I can help.

How do you hustle?

The first Habit of Money is to HUSTLE. The word hustle has been used to define a 70's disco dance. It also means to get money by cheating someone. It also means to sell something (usually drugs) for money.
I'm here to redefine the word for our generation. To be a Hustler or to HUSTLE means to make money. To HUSTLE is the first Habit of Money and the first building block of financial education.
How do you HUSTLE?
For most of us, we've got a job. For us entrepreneurs, we have our own businesses. There are pros and cons to both ways of life. Having a job means having a steady paycheck. We know we'll get paid on the first and fifteenth. We get benefits, stock options, health insurance for our families. The cons.... other people tell you when to come in, and when to leave. They tell us what we do and how much we get paid. The government bites off at least a quarter of our paycheck before we even see it.
Entrepreneurs live opposite lives of job holders. We have to build our business. We take on all the risk. There is no steady anything, especially in the building stages. We buy our own insurance and there are no "benefits." In exchange, we create our own schedules, keep most of our money, and control how much we earn. The sky is the limit when it comes to building a business.
Most of us are comfortable in the way we HUSTLE. I used to be a snobby entrepreneur. I thought: It's my way or no way at all! I'll never work for someone again!
Some people see the corporate ladder as the best way to get up. They like security and being able to see "What's next?"
I think that we can learn something from each other. As an entrepreneur building a new business, we need to pay our bills. That may mean having a part time or full time job. It's not forever, especially when you have vision.
As salaried employee, we've got our bills paid. But that's it. We are just getting by. Wouldn't it be nice to have more for ourselves? Wouldn't it be great to start a business without any of the risks and all of the rewards?
By adding another hustle to your current hustle, you will be able to earn more money. This means that you will be able to pay yourself more and pimp more dollars. Getting you that much closer to money mastery and financial independence.
Hustlers take ACTION:
1. Make a list of your hobbies, expertise and passions.
2. Brainstorm with someone on how you can turn your passion into cash.
3. Email me your ideas.
4. Get started today!

Stop leaving long ass voice mails
Do you spent what seemed like hours on your phone checking voicemail?
Or, are you the one leaving long ass rambling voicemails?
We are all guilty of leaving long ass voicemails. I know I am. I just left one for my friend 5 minutes ago. That's probably how long the message was. 5 minutes. At least it felt like 5 minutes for me.
Long vms are not cool. They waste your time and the receiver's time. And if you think about it: "Wasn't there something more important that you had to do?"
Here are 3 things to do before you pick up the phone:
1. Have a purpose.
what was your reason for calling?
2. Write down the main points.
I'm not saying essay here. but jotting down the main points helps you stay on task.
the bonus is that you don't forget anything.
3. Get the right response.
Do you need them to call you back? Or are you calling them with answers to their questions? How do you want them to respond?
As one of the biggest long message abusers that I know, I will follow these three steps as much as I can. (If you get a long ass vm from me...I may be drunk calling. That's a whole other topic.)
Have fun today!

My Friend
You are one of the greatest to ever live. You were born with so much potential. Release your fears. Every one of your fears. Run, jump, act like you can't fail.
Don't worry about what others think. Don't worry about what you don't have. Look around. Look inside. Take inventory of all the gifts you were blessed with.
Your only life goal is to become the best person you can be. To be able to affect the greatest number of people. My friend, many will be blessed because of you.
Remind yourself of what a great person you are. So full of passion, commitment and self discipline. Focus on one thing. Become the best at it. Never quit until you master it. Your plan is laid out. Don't think. Just do.

PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH
We all preach something. Even if we aren't teachers, preachers or people in authority.
Think about it. At work, don't you often hear about what your co-workers say they are gonna do? For example: "I'm gonna go back to law school." or "I'm gonna spend a year traveling the world." I'm sure you find yourself doing the same thing. Well, I'd like to encourage you to do it.
I don't care what it is. All I care about is that you do it. Start today. Start right now. Decide to make it happen. Small changes. Big changes. Any change is welcome. In the immortal words of Michael Jackson through his song "Man in the Mirror," GOTTA MAKE THAT CHANGE, CHAMON!
To practice what I preach, The change I'm making is this: I will concentrate more on investing than on speaking and writing. Because I believe that the better I get at INVESTING/PIMP YOUR DOLLARS, the better I will get at preaching THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY. My bio says I have accumulated over a million dollars in property. This is true. But, there is a big difference between how much property is worth and my NET WORTH. As you can tell from the 3 month gap in writing. I have been concentrating more on investing. So my friends, I will focus on my net worth, and get my HUSTLE ON! Along the way, I will become a more passionate speaker and teacher.
peace out, homies

The Tao of Money
The 5 Habits of Money is not a GET RICH QUICK SCHEME. If you are looking for something like that. Then click on the adsense columns on the right=====> We've got a problem with our thoughts on money. They don't make any sense. Or dollars for that matter. (Please excuse the cheese..) It's true, though. And our money problems don't only affect you and me. They affect our entire country. The words BUDGET DEFICIT mean nothing to our government. America's spending habit has been financed by other countries like China and Japan for years. It doesn't help that we just print more money to pay back our debts.
How can we avoid following the same mistakes our lawmakers continue to make on a daily basis?
What are the right ways to think, to act and feel towards money?
The 5 Habits of Money
The Habits encompass an overall direction for money. Not only WHAT to do with money. Also WHY we should use the Habits. What we have is a philosophy on money. How to make it. How money will help you and help others. Your philosophy of life determines how you live. Your philosophy of money determines how you live with money.
DRAMA:
What are your thoughts on money?
Do you have enough?
Is there not enough?
If you have a lot, does that mean someone else has none?
Can we ever run out of money?
If you stopped working, does money stop coming in too?
How can we work once and continue to get paid from our work?
What does it mean to be rich?
What do you think of rich people?
Do you want to be wealthy?
Is wealth obtainable for you?
When will you be wealthy?
Will you be rich in the next 30 years doing the things you are doing for money?
Let's talk, my friends.

THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY

You've heard me talk about The 5 Habits of Money. Or we may have had a discussion on what I do. You may even have my card. If you've never asked me about the habits. I'm gonna ask ME for YOU.....
WHAT ARE THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY?
1. HUSTLE: make money
2. FINANCIAL DIET: income=expenses
3. PAY YOURSELF: everyone else gets paid, why not you?
4. PIMP YOUR DOLLARS: make money work for you
5. C.Y.A.: cover your......assets.
WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW THE HABITS?
1. INDEPENDENCE:
We are expected to grow up some day. For most of us, it's taking longer than we or our parents expected. Part of growing up is to be independent of our parents. To have....Our own place to live. Our own car. Our own family. It takes some bread to make all these things happen. For most of us that means getting a job. Before you get a job, please UNDERSTAND THIS...
2. A J.O.B. CAN NOT MAKE YOU RICH:
How many people do you know who are FILTHY RICH just by working for someone else? I don't know anyone like that. My parents weren't like that. None of my friends who work for someone else aren't rich either. They all GET BY. But that's it. THEY JUST GET BY. Do you wanna know what a
3. YOU CAN'T TEACH WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW:
The best part of being a human is: EVERYTHING IS LEARNED. Not much of what we know is inherent. No one is a BORN (fill in the blank) ex. natural born killer, jerk, surgeon, humanitarian. MONEY is no exception. Money is a tool. We must learn how it works. I learned about money. And I am still learning about money. Many times I learn the hard way. No matter how hard it is to learn, we must learn. Unless you live in a place where money is not necessary and doesn't affect you. For the rest of us, let's get our MONEY LIFE, HANDLED! I know there would be more useful and enjoyable things we could do INSTEAD of work.
DRAMA:
Do the 5 Habits help you? How?
Do the 5 Habits SCARE you? What scares you?
Instead of being at work right now, WHAT WOULD YOU RATHER BE DOING?
I'd like to know what scares you about money and how I can help. Holla at me, homie!

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!

So you messed up once. Or twice. Or three times. IT'S COOL. I just attended a REAL ESTATE INVESTING 3 day training. I noticed that most of the participants were older. Our parent's age. I saw a couple that looked like one of my friend's parents.
WHY ARE THEY HERE?
That was my thought. Could it be that what they were told and what they told there kids wasn't working? GO TO SCHOOL. GET A GOOD JOB. WORK HARD. RETIRE. As active as seniors are these days, I'd still much rather enjoy life sooner than later. There are a lot of dreams we can fulfill, now. Money is only a tool. With money, we can afford to live out our dreams.
SAY YOU WANT A REVOLUTION
THE REVOLUTION STARTS WITH YOUR MIND. It can be summed up in two words: TAKE CONTROL! Take control of your money, your career, your life. Stop letting other people tell you what to do. (I'm talking about your
TIME TO CHANGE
1. ADMIT AND REALIZE THAT OUR PARENT'S WAY DOESN'T WORK. NOT FOR THEM. NOT FOR YOU.
2. FIND THE RIGHT WAY. The 5 Habits of Money Baby!
3. START THINKING FOR YOURSELF. Don't take my word for it. Use your brain. It's the most powerful tool IN THE WORLD.
QUESTIONS:
IF YOUR PARENT'S AREN'T GOOD WITH MONEY, SHOULD YOU LISTEN TO THEIR ADVICE ON MONEY?
WHAT CAN YOU TAKE CONTROL OF RIGHT NOW?
DO YOU KNOW THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY? I'd love to share them with you. Holla!

Stocks risky??? A lack of education is risky!

How good are you at picking stocks?
How good are you at getting in at the right time?
What about getting OUT at the right time?
My friends, I just attended a workshop on trading stocks this weekend. It totally blew my mind!
I learned how to use tools to effectively choose stocks, get in and out at the right times. For those of you who are addicted
to THE MARKET, you need to get to this
Wouldn't it be nice to make money in THE MARKET for a change?
Wouldn't it be nice to earn money on the stocks YOU ALREADY OWN?
Wouldn't it be cool to become an objective calculated investor?
DID YOU KNOW THAT 95% OF BROKERS ARE NOT PROFICIENT IN CHOOSING STOCKS?
THEIR LICENSE IS A LICENSE TO SELL. IT DOESN'T TEST THEM ON PROFICIENCY.
This means YOU know just about as much about stocks as they do. Are you scared yet?
I am. Friends, I'd like you to take control of your investments in THE MARKET. Check out a FREE INVESTools class in your area
No. I'm not getting paid to promote INVESTools. I just figured that since you already invest in stocks. You might as well make money with them. (Or maybe not lose money)
ACTION STEPS:
1. GO TO THE
2. ATTEND A FREE SEMINAR.
3. MAKE A DECISION. I CONTROL MY FUTURE or I'LL LET SOMEONE ELSE CONTROL MY FUTURE
QUESTIONS:
If you are taking 100% of the risk, shouldn't you receive 100% of the reward?
Who cares more about your money, you or your broker?
When you master stocks, will it be risky anymore?

Just Over Broke

Will you get rich working at your job?
Why not?
If you're not getting rich at your job, then WHO IS getting rich at your job?
You've heard the definition of a JOB, right? JUST OVER BROKE. Isn't that the truth. Don't you feel like this sometimes? Or do you feel like this EVERY month?
I know how you feel, friend. I've felt the same way too. And I've found that working for THE MAN sucks. The only one who gets rich is THE MAN.
May I give you one suggestion?
MAKE MONEY FOR YOURSELF.
You may be thinking "Dude, that's what I thought I was doing!"
I'm sorry, friend. You were making money for someone else.
"But I've got a nice paycheck and all this cool STUFF!"
True. You do have a lot of cool STUFF. But that STUFF is just STUFF. Does any of it make you rich?
Does any of it make money for you?
Focus on buying STUFF that makes money for you. Investments.
You know stocks and STUFF.
Real estate and STUFF.
No, not Star Wars collectibles. That's just STUFF!
Get STUFF that will stuff your pockets with CASH.
Remember a skinny waist is always attractive, but skinny pockets are just plain embarrassing.
ACTION STEPS
1. GET EDUCATED: Learn "The 5 Habits of Money." Learn how to make money work for you.
2. GET STARTED: Practice what you've learned.
3. GET HELP: Find a mentor, a club, a group to support you.
QUESTION:
What STUFF can you buy today that will put money in your pocket tomorrow?

Attend Free Wealth Seminars
Part of learning the GAME OF MONEY is education. One simple and FREE way to expand our FINANCIAL EDUCATION is to attend seminars. I just attended a one day Celebrity Conference. The Celebrity Conference included the very first "Apprentice." The other celebrity was Ben Stein. Yes, THE Ben Stein. "Bueller.....Bueller..." The rest of the seminar consisted of so/so to AWESOME speakers. They spoke on the topics of asset protection, stock trading, real estate investing, tax lien certificates, even Ebay.
If you never attended a FREE Wealth Seminar before, let me tell you wassup.
1. PREPARE YOURSELF. Keep an opened mind. Be ready to learn something new. Don't assume you know it ALL. Even multimillionaires and billionaires admit to not knowing everything.
2. TAKE NOTES. This is part of being prepared. I bring a notebook and at least one pen with me to all seminars. ESPECIALLY THE ONES I PAID FOR. Sharing your paper and extra pen is always welcomed by your neighbors.
3. SPEAKERS ALWAYS SELL. Books. Tapes. Training. EXPECT THAT. As a salesman, I love being sold. Knowing myself, I can realistically focus on one, maybe two areas at a time. I suggest purchasing from only one speaker.
4. If you buy something, CONGRATULATIONS. Jump into it that night. And don't quit till you have mastered the program.
5. Bring BUSINESS CARDS. Seminars are a great way to network with other people.
6. RELAX AND HAVE FUN. Even if you don't buy anything. You will learn something. You will meet somebody. You may even get inspired.
Here's the next one for the Bay Area this weekend. Register Now!
Have fun! Tell me all about it.

WHAT'S NEXT???
"Go to school." "Get a good job." Do you remember hearing your parents saying that? I remember. I still hear it.
"Son, they've got jobs in China and Taiwan." WHAT KINDA JOBS, DAD? "Sales or account rep jobs." BUT SPEAKING AND WRITING IS GONNA BE MY NEXT BUSINESS. "That'll come later. You need to make money NOW!"
DAMMIT! THEY'VE GOT A GOOD POINT. That's why I've come out with these 2 pieces of brilliance.
1. For those of you interested in THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY book. It will consist of approximately 160 pages of tasty financial hor'deurves. Bite sized, microwaveable, delicious. Just the way you like 'em. My retail on this best selling paperback is $20. Since I'm preselling you get it for the AMAZING price of only $10. "WOW. Eugene are you out of your mind!" YES. YES, I AM MY FRIEND. GO AHEAD AND TAKE ADVANTAGE. Seriously, anyone who wants to preorder my book 10 bucks and personalization INCLUDED! Holla at me homies.
2. For those of you who are in college and want to hear me speak. I am available for a one hour engagement. That means I will engage all of you with my ferocious wit, cheerful banter, and massive intellect. I'm gonna show you things you've never seen or heard. Mainly it's about THE GAME OF MONEY. It's about what the game is, the object of the game and how to play the game to win. All for the incredible price of $1200. Peanuts in the speaking game. Bill Clinton averages $250,000 per engagement. I will do something strange for that kind of change. The best part of hearing me speak is that IT'S FREE! Just get your school to pay for it. The reality is that your "student fees" go towards student activities. And I am one of those "activities."
GO TO SCHOOL. GET A JOB. What's next, mom and dad?
That is precisely the problem. We went to school. We got a job. We got some money. But all we know what to do with it is MAKE IT and SPEND IT. You know what? Making and spending money are the first two habits of money. The first habit is HUSTLE. Create at least one source of income. Whether it's a job, a business or a student loan check. A HUSTLE IS ANY WAY YOU RECEIVE INCOME.
HAS ANYTHING IN SCHOOL PREPARED YOU TO PLAY THE GAME???
ARE YOU PLAYING THE GAME NOW???
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE GAME IS???
Holla at me. I'd like to introduce you to the game. eugene@5habitsofmoney.com

THE FEAR OF MONEY
"It's all about the benjamins, baby!" If it is about the "benjamins," why don't we have more of it? And why does it seem we can't hold on to more of it? Could it be we just don't want a lot of money? "Mo money mo problems." right? More headaches. More paperwork. More complicated. More people trying to hit us up for cash. "Gosh! I don't want all that responsibility!" we say.
Imagine a tidal wave of cash headed straight towards you. What do you do? Do you run for your life? Do you stand and face it? If it catches up to you, it will overtake you. This tidal wave of cash, is more like a tide pool of money. Shallow and unmenacing. But we are so afraid of money that we won't even dip our toes in the tide pool. So we wait. And the tide pool dries up and vanishes, along with the money.
Are we that afraid of money? You may say "NO!" But your body, to quote the famous R. Kelly, is telling me YES! By us avoiding money, we tell God and the entire universe "DON'T LET ME BE RICH!" "DON'T GIVE ME A LOT OF MONEY." "I'M AFRAID OF IT."
Let's think about this for a second. Are we really afraid of money? Or are we really afraid of pissing it all away? What is fear, anyway? WE FEAR WHAT WE DON'T KNOW. So how do we move past our fear? LEARN ABOUT IT. UNDERSTAND IT. BE FRIENDS WITH IT. Once we learn more about money and what to do with it, our fear of money will vanish. What do we know about money so far? We know how to make money and spend money. THAT'S ALL WE KNOW.
You make money. You spend money. Congratulations! You're off to a great start. You already know the first two of THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY. Next, let's learn how to make more money and how to buy the right things with that money. When you learn and master THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY, you will become a MONEY MASTER. Money's gonna be scared of you! BOO!
THE 5 HABITS OF MONEY
1. HUSTLE: MAKE MONEY
2. FINANCIAL DIET: SPEND MONEY
3. PAY YOURSELF
4. PIMP YOUR DOLLARS
5. C.Y.A.

What I learned from a billionaire and millionaire

The "DONALD" and "RICH DAD" have written a book together entitled "Why we want you to be rich." My first impression: Oh great..A multi millionaire and a billionaire trying to sell more books by putting their names and mugs on the cover.
After reading the book, my impression is: Thanks for writing the book, you guys! It's not as cheesy as I had pre-judged. I really felt the sincerity Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki shared in the book. I learned a lot from these guys. Thank you Critter.
If any of you have read any book written by these guys, you will agree that they are not the best writers in the world. But they sure are best selling authors. Especially Robert Kiyosaki, the man is a machine. Both men are masters at marketing and selling their individual brands. I recommend getting the book. Check it out here!
Here's what I learned from a billionaire and multi-millionaire:
1. Donald trump never really smiles in pictures.
2. Robert Kiyosaki lost a lot of weight.
3. Both are concerned with your financial future.
4. Both are concerned with the financial future of the United States.
5. They really care about you.
6. When it comes to Social Security and Medicare, the numbers don't add up.
7. The middle class is shrinking.
8. Your two choices are be rich or be poor.
9. Financial education is necessary.
10. All "financial advisors" are salespeople first.
